“There was a cool mixture of fishing gear, old moorings and camping equipment that the previous management used to operate the park.” While the site has been refurbished, adding more modern amenities, including high-speed internet from OpenCape, Kuzia says they kept one particular artifact. “We found some really interesting stuff,” says Kuzia. When the couple took over operations of Coastal Acres in 2016, they did some renovations and in doing so, uncovered some unique vintage items. “Campers can easily go to the beach and then go have fun in town,” says Kuzia, who with her husband lives on-site during the open season from April 15 through November 1.
