A heated discussion ensued and I refused to pay. Then about 2 hours later I got a call from the manager ranting that I needed to pay another 500rup for transport one way from the airport on the first day. When I checked out and asked for the final bill they included a previously paid meal. Finally just be careful with what is and isn’t been charged. I’d say if you don’t want this to happen just ask at reception. As I said I shouldn’t be annoyed by this as they are just been courteous but it did break my sleep both nights. Also around 9-10pm each night I got a phone call (that woke me up) asking if I wanted to order dinner.
When I answered the door it was a staff member handing out biscuits. Each day I had the do not disturb sign on my door but around 6pm there was a knock, I left it hoping they would see the sign but it kept going. Something that I probably shouldn’t be annoyed about is the disturbances. So make sure you have plenty of data on your phone or tablet.

WiFi, there is no WiFi at this hotel and the TV has only Hindi channels apart from one news channel. All I would say is the room is worth between 3000-4000rup at best. To put it in perspective I pay a similar rate for a very well known upmarket hotel in Hyderabad that includes everything. For this it was just the room, no washing, no meals, nothing. When this issue was resolved I discovered the room rate was 6000rup a night (€80). Cost! The room was booked for me by work and I assumed paid for but it wasn’t. I found the food to be good and reasonably priced. Room service was a little difficult to order due to a bad phone and the language barrier but the order was correct both times. The second day service had everything in the bathroom, including a floor mat. Word of caution be very careful getting out of the shower the floors are very slippery. First day the bathroom had limited supplies (1 x towel, 1 x face towel, 1 x soap) no bath mat or hand towel was supplied. The room itself (Deluxe Double room) was well appointed and tidy. It did however make me very late for work but that’s not the end of the world haha. Check out was a different story and took the better part of 20 minutes! This is possibly because the normal front desk staff are not on early (7am) in the morning. Check in was a little slow with quite a lot of information to be given but was otherwise fine. Access is via security towards the back of the building and reception is on the 3rd floor. Located fairly central about 10 minutes from the airport, Prism hotel is situated above the Big Bazzar (shopping centre). I didn’t get out of the hotel outside of work so can’t give any feedback regarding that, so the review will focus just on the hotel. I had to stay here because of work requirements for two nights.
